WISER Moves to New HQ to Accommodate Company Growth

Raleigh, NC, August 23, 2019 — This week WISER Systems, Inc. moved into its own new headquarters in downtown Raleigh, NC. This new location will accommodate WISER’s growing team and set the groundwork for additional growth in the coming months.

With its new offices less than a mile from the North Carolina State Capitol, WISER’s base of operations has not moved far. The larger space will, however, allow WISER to sustain more long term growth, including expansions in staff, lab and test space, and in the scope of customer projects.

“This is an exciting step for us, especially since we’ve outgrown two different office suites since launching our first product two years ago,” WISER CEO Dr. Elaine Rideout said. “This is a big step for us, and we’re so excited to have a dedicated building. It’s great to know we’ll be in one place for a while where we can continue to expand as a company.”

Earlier this year WISER joined entrepreneur Scott Wingo’s Triangle Tweeners list—a list of tech companies that a) are headquartered in North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park corridor, and b) have reached requisite milestones in sales or employee numbers to advance the company beyond the startup stage.

Since then WISER has also grown significantly in terms of customer sales and retention. WISER’s customer base grew by more than 50% just in the first two quarters of 2019. Customers include 10% of the Fortune 100 companies. WISER’s customer retention is also extremely high, with nearly 50% of customers returning for additional services and products.

“We can always do more to meet market needs, enhance our Locator system, and be a better company,” said Rideout. “But moving to a new location in many ways reminds us that we have big goals for WISER—and that we’re on our way to reaching them.”

WISER Systems saves time and money by locating and tracking critical assets in real time. Powered by ultra-wideband (UWB) technology, WISER’s real-time location system (RTLS) allows customers to locate tagged assets with submeter accuracy—and often within a few inches. Early adopters include world leaders in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, retail, shipping and packaging, and the U.S. Military.
