Raleigh, NC, February 28, 2019 — WISER Systems, Inc. will demonstrate its ultra-wideband (UWB) localization system live in San Diego next week at Industry of Things World USA.

As a business partner of the event, WISER will showcase its real-time asset tracking system live throughout the two-day expo. WISER uses this system across a variety of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions, including tool tracking, yard management, and process visibility in manufacturing settings. In these and other applications, WISER’s system delivers instantaneous visibility of tagged assets, accurate within inches in most settings and within one meter in even the most challenging environments.

“While our customers use our Locator system in all sorts of industries, we continue to find high value in heavy industry and the IIoT,” said WISER CEO Dr. Elaine Rideout. “We’re able to deliver reliable, in-the-moment, game-changing data on motion and location, and our partners in the IIoT are finding more and more ways to utilize that data. Many comparable technologies can’t function in RF-heavy or reflective industrial environments, so this gives us an edge that many of our customers need.”

As part of the Industry of Things World global series, next week’s expo will highlight the latest technology developments and applications in the IIoT. With more than 60 thought leaders and expert speakers, in addition to the many presenting companies, this event “focuses on real world end-user case studies on how how smart manufacturing technologies are changing businesses and industries,” according to the event’s website. The event includes sessions in Supply Chain & Logistics, Sensors, Automation, Predictive Maintenance, and Industrial Data Analytics.

Industry of Things World welcomes many IIoT newcomers and veterans alike. This year’s exhibitors include Microsoft, Amazon, PTC, HP, Qualcomm, and Sas, among other leaders in IIoT solutions.

Industry of Things World USA will take place at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina in San Diego, CA. Visit WISER Systems at booth #18.
