Raleigh, NC, April 10, 2018 — MODEX 2018 will showcase WISER’s real-time asset tracking technology in live demonstrations this week.
WISER Systems will join more than 900 other exhibitors at this event. As one of the largest industrial expos in the United States, MODEX showcases the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in manufacturing and supply chain. Industry experts will present on IoT, inventory management and security, asset tracking and identification systems, material handling, connected logistics, robotics and automation, and wireless control among many other topics.
WISER’s asset tracking solution is designed to function in heavy industrial environments and across docks and distribution centers. Many legacy tracking and location systems fail to perform indoors, around metal, or in cluttered environments with reflective surfaces. This poses visibility problems during many stages of manufacturing and supply chain management, since assets can’t be reliably located, and processes have to be reported manually.
“We’ve built our technology around the need for accurate, scalable, non-interfering tracking in even the most complex spaces,” said Dr. Elaine C. Rideout, CEO of WISER Systems. ”The ability to locate, track and help navigate autonomous robots indoors gives our solution an invaluable edge in any industrial setting.”
Using ultra-wideband technology to transmit and report location data, WISER’s Locator can identify and find any number of tagged assets in 3-dimensions with submeter accuracy. Location data self-reports autonomously in real time. This eliminates the need for scanning portals or the manual inventory updates needed in most asset visibility systems and reduces both workloads and margin for human error.
MODEX 2018 will take place in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA from April 9-12. Visit WISER representatives at booth B2415.
